Wireless irrigation valve with convenient Bluetooth® control unit
With the GARDENA Irrigation Valve 9 V Bluetooth®, you can control your irrigation system comfortably, automatically, and completely wirelessly – ideal for larger sprinkler systems and garden areas without a power connection. The valve is simply integrated into the system and, thanks to battery operation, can be flexibly placed at various locations in the garden, e.g., in valve boxes in the ground.
Using the free GARDENA Bluetooth® App (for iOS and Android), your smartphone or tablet becomes a practical remote control. Within a radius of up to 10 m, you can comfortably make all settings without having to work in the valve box. An irrigation assistant guides you step-by-step through the setup and suggests suitable irrigation combinations. This way, you can plan up to six individual irrigation schedules: You set start times, durations, and weekdays – ideal if your garden is divided into several irrigation zones.
If needed, you can activate a rain break so that no unnecessary irrigation takes place during wet weather periods – this protects plants and conserves water. For even greater efficiency, a separately available GARDENA Soil Moisture Sensor can be connected. If the sensor indicates sufficient soil moisture, timed irrigation will not start. This way, you only irrigate when your plants actually need water.
The control unit has a clearly visible button that allows you to manually start or stop irrigation at any time. You can comfortably set the duration of manual irrigation in the app. Status LEDs inform you about the current irrigation status, battery condition, and existing Bluetooth® connection. A 1" internal thread on the valve allows for easy installation in a separately available GARDENA Valve Box.
The Irrigation Valve 9 V Bluetooth® is operated with a 9 V alkaline battery, which ensures safe, completely off-grid operation for one season. The flow-optimized valve geometry ensures minimal pressure losses – ideal for high-performance irrigation systems.
