SERAMIS® Special Substrate for Palms creates ideal conditions for vigorous growth and strong, healthy plants. The combination of SERAMIS® Plant Granules, lava, and a silicate mineral provides a structurally stable, airy, yet water and nutrient-storing base. The lava increases drainage and improves stability due to its weight – especially for tall palms in pots. The included silicate mineral helps to better store water and important nutrients such as potassium, calcium, and magnesium, ensuring the plant is supplied more evenly and can develop a more stable cell structure. In addition, the silicate has a slightly insulating effect, keeping potted plants on balconies or terraces warmer for longer. The substrate is part of the SERAMIS® system and can be ideally combined with SERAMIS® Vital Food for Green Plants & Palms and the SERAMIS® Watering Indicator.
