Seramis Orchid Special Substrate

SERAMIS® Special Substrate for Orchids is the ideal base for orchids to grow healthily and bloom reliably. Orchid roots need a lot of air and consistent moisture, but cannot tolerate waterlogging. This substrate is made precisely for that: The mixture of proven SERAMIS® clay granules in a larger grain size and high-quality pine bark ensures a loose, decorative structure, optimal aeration of the sensitive roots, and a balanced water balance. This reliably prevents waterlogging and root rot, allowing your orchids to thrive magnificently. As part of the SERAMIS® system, the substrate can be ideally combined with SERAMIS® Vital Food for Orchids and SERAMIS® Vital Spray for leaf care.

Repotting made easy: Water the orchid the day before, carefully remove old or rotten roots. Fill the pot about one-third with substrate, insert the plant with slight rotating movements and fill until the root ball is covered. Lightly tap the pot so that the substrate settles well around the roots – done.

For closed containers: First, fill a drainage layer of SERAMIS® Plant Granules for houseplants, then use the orchid substrate.

On-site pickup
Pickup takes place during our opening hours.
Please bring your order confirmation and a valid photo ID.

Shipping

If you choose shipping instead of pickup, the following options will automatically be available to you depending on your order and delivery address:

Parcel Shipping (DPD or Hermes)
Shipping within Germany. Shipping costs depend on the weight of your order and will be displayed at checkout.

Local Delivery (Delivery Service)
Delivery within a 20 km radius for a minimum order value of €50. For orders placed by 11 AM, delivery usually takes place on the same day by 8 PM.

Pallet Delivery (Freight Forwarder)
For larger or bulky orders within a 20 km radius, also for a minimum order value of €50. Delivery will be arranged by appointment within 5 business days.

Please provide your phone number at checkout, as well as any notes such as a preferred drop-off location, so that we can optimally plan the delivery.
