The ORIGINAL SEED MIX is the high-quality supplement for pigeons that need more energy, feather shine and condition. Carefully selected oil and fat-rich seeds provide concentrated, consistently available power – ideal during racing, breeding/rearing and moulting, but also as a daily enhancement to the basic mixture.

What the mix offers

• Concentrated energy: Oilseeds provide natural fatty acids for endurance and faster regeneration.

• Feathers in top condition: Supports shine, density and elasticity of the plumage – a visibly well-groomed appearance.

• High acceptance: Fine, homogeneous granulation – very good intake, even for picky eaters.

• Versatile: Compatible with all common basic and racing mixtures; dosage can be adjusted according to goal.

Typical seed profile*

Selected oil and fine seeds such as safflower, linseed, hemp, sunflower seeds (striped/shelled), rapeseed/turnip rape, buckwheat, possibly perilla, among others.

Application & Feeding

• As a supplement to the basic mix: mix in 10–30% as needed.

• Racing/Stress: moderately increase in the last feedings before basketing.

• Breeding/Rearing: add several times a week – promotes feed intake and vitality.

• Moulting: use regularly to meet the increased demand for fatty acids.

• Minerals: Always provide grit/mineral mix separately; replenish fresh water daily.

Quality & Handling

• Carefully cleaned for a low-dust, uniform mixture.

• Flexible dosing – pure as a "topping" or directly mixed into the grain mixture.

After your order
You will receive an order confirmation by email.
As soon as your order is ready for pickup, we will inform you by email or SMS.

On-site pickup
Pickup takes place during our opening hours.
Please bring your order confirmation and a valid photo ID.

Pickup is only possible after our confirmation and exclusively during our opening hours.

Shipping

If you choose shipping instead of pickup, the following options will automatically be available to you depending on your order and delivery address:

Parcel Shipping (DPD or Hermes)
Shipping within Germany. Shipping costs depend on the weight of your order and will be displayed at checkout.

Local Delivery (Delivery Service)
Delivery within a 20 km radius for a minimum order value of €50. For orders placed by 11 AM, delivery usually takes place on the same day by 8 PM.

Pallet Delivery (Freight Forwarder)
For larger or bulky orders within a 20 km radius, also for a minimum order value of €50. Delivery will be arranged by appointment within 5 business days.

Please provide your phone number at checkout, as well as any notes such as a preferred drop-off location, so that we can optimally plan the delivery.
