Natural fine seed mix for exotics, finches & garden birds

94 – Wild Seeds is a carefully balanced blend of fine, natural seeds, similar to those many wild birds and small exotics forage for in nature. The recipe provides consistent energy, is easily digestible, and is very well accepted thanks to its fine texture – ideal as a varied supplement to daily basic feeding.

Strengths of the mix

• Natural & species-appropriate: Fine seeds for nature-loving species and small beaks – promotes natural pecking and foraging behavior.

• Easily digestible: Carbohydrate-rich seeds for stable energy supply without overburdening.

• High acceptance: Very palatable – readily accepted by finches, exotics, and many garden birds.

• Versatile: As a supplement to the basic mix or to enhance during periods of higher demand.

Typical seed profile*

Fine millet varieties, panicum, poppy/niger seed, grass seeds, possibly small amounts of linseed or other fine oilseeds for completeness.

Feeding recommendation

• As a supplement to the basic mix, mix in daily or several times a week as needed (approx. 10–30%).

• For small exotics (e.g. zebra finches, amadines), also offer pure in small quantities.

• In the garden, offer in protected feeding dishes/dispensers; protect from moisture.

Tips & notes

• Grit/minerals (e.g. cuttlebone, mineral stone) should always be provided separately.

• Fresh food (greens, herbs, vegetables) should be added regularly for additional vitamins.

• Water hygiene: Provide fresh drinking water daily, clean bowls regularly.

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry, and dark place.

• After opening, seal airtight and use up quickly.

• Remove food residues regularly.

Shipping

If you choose shipping instead of pickup, the following options will automatically be available to you depending on your order and delivery address:

Parcel Shipping (DPD or Hermes)
Shipping within Germany. Shipping costs depend on the weight of your order and will be displayed at checkout.

Local Delivery (Delivery Service)
Delivery within a 20 km radius for a minimum order value of €50. For orders placed by 11 AM, delivery usually takes place on the same day by 8 PM.

Pallet Delivery (Freight Forwarder)
For larger or bulky orders within a 20 km radius, also for a minimum order value of €50. Delivery will be arranged by appointment within 5 business days.

Please provide your phone number at checkout, as well as any notes such as a preferred drop-off location, so that we can optimally plan the delivery.
