66 – Budgerigar Super is the nutritious everyday and breeding mix for budgerigars that need a little more energy and nutrient density. The balanced recipe combines fine millet varieties with canary seed and a well-thought-out proportion of energy-rich fine seeds – for optimal absorption, beautiful feather quality and consistent condition in daily use.

Strengths of the mix

• More power in the bowl: Carbohydrate-rich millet plus selected fine seeds provide quickly available energy for the joy of flying, play instinct and training.

• Fine, homogeneous grain: Easy to peel and peck – ideal for small beaks, very good acceptance even by sensitive eaters.

• Plumage & Form: Moderately oily seeds support feather shine, musculature and a stable basic condition.

• Suitable year-round: As a premium base for everyday use, flexibly adaptable for molting, breeding/rearing and regeneration.

Feeding recommendation

• Daily ration: Per budgerigar approx. 1–2 teaspoons (≈ 5–10 g) daily, divided into 2 meals.

• Breeding & Rearing: Supplement as needed with egg food and fresh greens/vegetables.

• Molting/Increased needs: Occasionally add fine oilseeds (e.g., a little niger seed/linseed) very sparingly.

• Minerals: Always offer grit/cuttlefish bone/mineral stone separately for free intake; refresh fresh water daily.

Composition (typical)

Fine millet varieties (yellow/white/red millet), canary seed, depending on the batch small proportions of panicum/hulled oats/niger seed for refinement.

Quality & Handling

• Carefully cleaned seeds for a low-dust, consistent mix.

• Very easy to dose – feed pure or combine with supplements (seed mix, sprouted feed).

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry, light-protected place.

• After opening, seal airtight and use promptly.

• Remove leftover food regularly, keep bowls clean.

On-site pickup
Pickup takes place during our opening hours.
Please bring your order confirmation and a valid photo ID.

Shipping

If you choose shipping instead of pickup, the following options will automatically be available to you depending on your order and delivery address:

Parcel Shipping (DPD or Hermes)
Shipping within Germany. Shipping costs depend on the weight of your order and will be displayed at checkout.

Local Delivery (Delivery Service)
Delivery within a 20 km radius for a minimum order value of €50. For orders placed by 11 AM, delivery usually takes place on the same day by 8 PM.

Pallet Delivery (Freight Forwarder)
For larger or bulky orders within a 20 km radius, also for a minimum order value of €50. Delivery will be arranged by appointment within 5 business days.

Please provide your phone number at checkout, as well as any notes such as a preferred drop-off location, so that we can optimally plan the delivery.
