51 – Budgie Basic is a high-quality staple food for budgies, providing a reliable supply of energy and nutrients daily. The mixture relies on classic millet varieties and canary seed in an easily digestible grain size, which budgies particularly enjoy. This keeps your bird active, curious, and in top shape – day after day.

What makes this mixture special

• Species-appropriate basic recipe: Proven combination of millet (e.g., yellow/white/red) and canary seed – easily digestible, tasty, and highly utilizable.

• Constant energy supply: Carbohydrate-rich seeds provide quickly available energy for flying enjoyment and playfulness.

• Good food intake: Homogeneous, fine grain size – ideal for the budgie's small beak.

• Suitable all year round: As a Daily Basic for everyday use; can be combined with fresh food and supplements as needed.

Feeding recommendation

• Daily ration: Approx. 1–2 teaspoons (5–10 g) per budgie per day, divided into 2 meals.

• Variety & Balance: Regularly offer fresh green food (e.g., chickweed, herbs), vegetables, and occasionally sprouted seeds.

• Condition & Molt: In case of increased need (molt, breeding, convalescence), supplement proportionately with fine oilseeds or egg food – use sparingly.

• Grit & Minerals: Always provide grit/mineral stone/cuttlefish bone separately for free intake.

Quality & Composition (typical)

• Typical seeds: Millet mixture (e.g., yellow/white/red), canary seed, possibly small proportions of hulled oats or other fine seeds for rounding off.

• No artificial additives: Focus on natural, carefully cleaned seeds of consistent quality.

Storage

As soon as your order is ready for pickup, we will inform you by email or SMS.

On-site pickup
Pickup takes place during our opening hours.
Please bring your order confirmation and a valid photo ID.

Shipping

If you choose shipping instead of pickup, the following options will automatically be available to you depending on your order and delivery address:

Parcel Shipping (DPD or Hermes)
Shipping within Germany. Shipping costs depend on the weight of your order and will be displayed at checkout.

Local Delivery (Delivery Service)
Delivery within a 20 km radius for a minimum order value of €50. For orders placed by 11 AM, delivery usually takes place on the same day by 8 PM.

Pallet Delivery (Freight Forwarder)
For larger or bulky orders within a 20 km radius, also for a minimum order value of €50. Delivery will be arranged by appointment within 5 business days.

Please provide your phone number at checkout, as well as any notes such as a preferred drop-off location, so that we can optimally plan the delivery.
