50 – Canary Base is the daily all-round mix for canaries. The recipe with high-quality canary seed and selected millet varieties provides stable energy, is well-received, and supports singing ability, activity and well-groomed plumage – ideal for year-round feeding.

Strengths of the mix

• Species-appropriate & digestible: High proportion of canary seed plus fine millet varieties – easily digestible, tasty, and optimal for small beaks.

• Constant energy supply: Carbohydrate-rich seeds for endurance, playfulness, and vitality.

• Suitable all year round: As a basic feed for everyday use – can be flexibly combined with supplements.

Feeding recommendation

• Daily ration: Approx. 1–2 teaspoons (5–10 g) per canary daily, divided into 2 meals.

• During special phases:

  • Moulting: Supplement sparingly with fine oil seeds or sprouted food.

  • Breeding/Rearing: Enhance occasionally with egg food and fresh greens.

• Minerals & Grit: Always provide cuttlebone/grit/mineral stone separately for free intake.

• Fresh food: Regularly provide green food/herbs and vegetables; variety promotes well-being and condition.

Composition (typical)

• Canary seed as a base, supplemented with selected millet varieties (e.g., yellow/white/red millet); depending on the batch, small amounts of fine seeds for refinement.

• No unnecessary additives: Focus on natural, carefully cleaned seeds.

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry, and dark place.

• After opening, seal airtight and consume within a few weeks.

• Remove feed remnants daily; provide fresh drinking water.

Shipping

If you choose shipping instead of pickup, the following options will automatically be available to you depending on your order and delivery address:

Parcel Shipping (DPD or Hermes)
Shipping within Germany. Shipping costs depend on the weight of your order and will be displayed at checkout.

Local Delivery (Delivery Service)
Delivery within a 20 km radius for a minimum order value of €50. For orders placed by 11 AM, delivery usually takes place on the same day by 8 PM.

Pallet Delivery (Freight Forwarder)
For larger or bulky orders within a 20 km radius, also for a minimum order value of €50. Delivery will be arranged by appointment within 5 business days.

Please provide your phone number at checkout, as well as any notes such as a preferred drop-off location, so that we can optimally plan the delivery.
